Job Requirements

  • doctor of veterinary medicine (dvm) degree
  • valid license to practice veterinary medicine in georgia
  • experience with small animals (cats and dogs) preferred
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • strong communication skills
  • dedication to ongoing professional development
  • availability for scheduled work hours including weekdays and some Saturdays

Job Qualifications

  • doctor of veterinary medicine (dvm) degree from an accredited veterinary college
  • valid veterinary license to practice in georgia
  • clinical experience in small animal medicine preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • commitment to compassionate and high-quality veterinary care
  • willingness to participate in mentorship programs and continuing education

Job Duties

  • examine and diagnose cats and dogs to provide appropriate medical treatment
  • perform surgeries and manage post-operative care
  • collaborate with a team for comprehensive animal care
  • engage clients in education about pet health and wellness
  • utilize diagnostic tools such as digital x-rays, dental radiographs, and ultrasound
  • participate in community and rescue organization efforts
  • maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations
