Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
  • Active veterinary license in the state of South Dakota

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
  • Active veterinary license in the state of South Dakota
  • Experience or interest in specialty veterinary practices such as oncology, cardiology, or rehabilitation is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional growth

Job Duties

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to animal patients
  • Perform surgical procedures including routine and advanced surgeries
  • Deliver dental care services
  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as digital and dental X-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy, echocardiogram, and CT scans
  • Conduct in-house laboratory testing
  • Administer chemotherapy and cardiology treatments
  • Engage in rehabilitation procedures including hydrotherapy and laser therapy
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
  • Maintain accurate medical records and comply with veterinary regulations
