Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to travel regularly including occasional overnight and weekend commitments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects effectively
- Proficiency in digital communications and social media platforms
- Commitment to working with veterans and first responders in a supportive role
- Understanding of regulatory and institutional compliance in outreach activities
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in a volunteer program preferred
- Experience working with Veteran outreach programs, including managing development, implementation, and operations preferred
- Experience generating and developing veteran referral sources preferred
- Experience working within a higher education and/or medical environment preferred
Job Duties
- Represent BRAVE at community events, alumni activities, health fairs, and outreach events across the Midwest
- Develop outreach partnerships with veterans’ groups, first responder agencies, and other regional organizations
- Coordinate and execute communications including email campaigns, social media posts, website updates, and print materials
- Schedule and support internal and external outreach meetings, site visits, and special events
- Support BRAVE’s alumni and peer support programming through ongoing engagement and event facilitation
- Collect and report data on outreach efforts and communications impact to help guide strategy
- Collaborate with the Case Management team on patient referrals and follow-up
- Serve as a knowledgeable and compassionate ambassador for BRAVE’s services and mission
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies during all outreach activities
