Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Two to three years' experience in audio visual and/or hospitality
  • Two years' advanced AV experience in theatrical or live event environment
  • Ability to operate AV equipment in live settings
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer service focus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office and internet applications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and climb stairs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Two to three years prior experience in audio visual and/or hospitality industry
  • Two years advanced audio and visual experience in theatrical or live event environment
  • Strong technical aptitude including AV equipment setup, strike, and operation
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Team player orientation
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office, networking, IT device management, PC and Mac operations
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Keynote, and internet usage

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily floor operation, including set/strike equipment for each event as required
  • Supervise non-union, union, and contract labor to ensure all setups and strikes meet company standards
  • Operate AV equipment during live shows as needed
  • Greet guests and clients before events and provide clear instructions on equipment operation
  • Maintain continuous communication with clients to ensure event success
  • Follow through on client requests and seek opportunities to enhance events
  • Complete flow sheets, schedules, and purchase orders for equipment delivery and labor
  • Ensure all inventory is in good working order and secure
  • Enforce company security and safety measures
  • Continuously update and improve technical skills
  • Accurately maintain client event information in billing and event order systems
  • Review invoices with clients and obtain signatures
  • Manage venue inventory and equipment locations
  • Report lost, stolen, or damaged equipment immediately
  • Ensure all company areas are clean, organized, and meet standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
