Job Requirements

  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Relevant education and/or experience demonstrating applied knowledge
  • Experience in event management or venue operations preferred
  • Ability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must pass a background check including criminal and sexual offender registry checks
  • Compliance with CSU policies regarding sensitive information
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Ability to handle Level 1 protected data confidentially

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • Experience in event management or venue operations
  • Proficiency with ticket selling platforms
  • Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to ticketing and event equipment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary liaison between University Box Office and Athletics
  • Oversee front-of-house coordination for athletic events requiring patron services
  • Support University Box Office and Venue Patron Services Specialist in client event needs
  • Troubleshoot ticketing systems, credit card terminals, and box office equipment
  • Provide customer service and resolve conflicts in fast-paced environments
  • Assist with accessibility accommodations for patrons with diverse needs
  • Work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as required
