Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years experience in retail store operations
  • One year experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 45 pounds independently
  • Ability to lift objects over 45 pounds with assistance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to acquire appropriate government driver’s license
  • Ability to operate computer and related equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Willingness to comply with MCCS policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Three years experience in convenient retail store operation, with at least one year in a supervisory role
  • Ability to make sound decisions in situations without written instructions
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Ability to read and prepare reports related to ordering, replenishment, and inventory
  • Ability to operate computers and peripheral equipment
  • Skill in supervising and coaching employees
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to acquire government driver’s license for vehicle and equipment use

Job Duties

  • Supervise micro market services and personnel
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accountability
  • Operate administrative computer and peripheral equipment
  • Perform administrative functions and train staff on vending software
  • Recommend and implement new programs or product changes
  • Inspect market locations for compliance and sales potential
  • Provide minor repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Assign and distribute work
  • Coach, counsel, mentor, and train employees
  • Approve and disapprove leave
  • Recommend and complete personnel actions including disciplinary measures
  • Conduct performance reviews and sign timesheets
  • Support EEO program and sexual harassment prevention
  • Provide world-class customer service and promptly resolve customer issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety programs and OSHA standards
  • Report workplace accidents and injuries
  • Implement safety training and corrective actions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
