Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to an associate degree or higher
- Experience in IT or technical support roles preferred
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members
- Availability to handle after-hours requests as needed
- Proficiency with monitoring and troubleshooting fuel management systems such as Veeder Root
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree (2-year) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and provide support to technicians over the phone
- Ability to troubleshoot and convey technical information clearly to non-technical audiences
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
Job Duties
- Go through all the new Veeder Root Tickets and dispatch a tech or ST/RFS if needed
- Address logistics, service desk, fuel team and issues stores have related to Veeder Root, ATGs, and OSPs via email or teams
- Assist on-site technicians as needed
- Verify all the current active Veeder Root alarms are being addressed properly
- Follow up on all the previous Veeder Root tickets and request updates as needed
- Complete the two WRA Communications emails one for fuel and one for DEF issues sent out from Warren Rogers and dispatch techs as needed
- Make sure all the new VR installations are being done quickly and efficiently
- Answer any questions Steve has regarding inspections/reporting
- Answer any emails that US Tank sends regarding inspection issues
- Respond to any emails from WRA addressing dispenser issues such as suspicious removals of fuel loss, or loss of ATG and/or OSP readings
- Make sure to answer all Veeder Root Generated alerts quickly and efficiently
- Check Veeder Root configuration for Positive Shutdown, tank water, sensor setup, and other settings for testers, techs, etc
- Bypass sensors with the approval of EPA representative to bring fuel up when applicable
- Troubleshoot ATGs that have gone offline with stores to get it back on the network
- Coordinate with NOC and/or fuel technicians as necessary to resolve
- After power outages and network cleanups, ensure the ATG and OSP are online and assist NOC and onsite techs as necessary to resolve
- Send a Shift Status Report at the end of every shift including parts that need ordered, P1 issues, testers on site, ATGs and OSPs offline and any other urgent issues that need to be resolved
- Run line testing through Telnet, GUI, or Inform for PLLD alarms
- Correct ATG programming as necessary remotely to avoid dispatches when possible
- After hours handle all requests for bio diesel percentage changes and shutdowns as requested by logistics
- Coordinate with Environmental team as needed to stay in compliance per state regulations
- Work with tech companies and ANS to order parts, follow-up on tracking and coordinate return trips as needed
- Notify other departments via an email to Fuel Down Initial when fuel is down
- After hours also notify in the After Hours/ Weekend Fuel Down group chat
- Notify dealer liaison of any ATG and/or OSP issues needing addressed at dealer locations
- Make sure all sensors are labeled correctly
- Loss detection
- Missing sensors excel sheet
- WRA OSP/DEF reports 2 a day
- Make sure we have interstice monitoring per WRAs request
- Monitor Bio tank temperature alerts from WRA, troubleshoot with stores, dispatch P1 and coordinate with Justin Hamilton as necessary
- Turn off bio hearts via the bio software if temps are high and or water issues
