Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • must have 1 year of cash handling experience
  • must be certifiable through the Arizona Department of Gaming/Tribal Gaming office
  • must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
  • successful candidates must pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing
  • applicants must be of good physical health able to stand and lift heavy objects
  • must comply with suitability standards concerning legal and behavioral background related to felonies, warrants, shoplifting, weapons, theft, domestic violence, or multiple drug convictions

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
  • minimum 18 years of age
  • must be certifiable through the Arizona Department of Gaming/Tribal Gaming office
  • successful candidates subject to pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing
  • prefer proficiency in use of 10 key calculator, currency counters, and coin wrapping machines
  • excellent math and organizational skills
  • associate degree in related field or trade school, professional or technical certification preferred
  • 1-year equivalent to at least CS-2, 6-months specialized work experience, 2-years work experience in related field or 2-years general or supervisory work experience
  • customer service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain vault funds on an impress basis
  • accept and verify currency from soft count
  • prepare and issue daily banks for casino staff
  • verify and countersign for all currency, coupons, vouchers associated with incoming transfers
  • maintain adequate amounts of all denominations of coins, tokens, and currency to meet casino needs
  • separate and eliminate (via bank deposit) old, worn out, torn, or defaced bills
  • prepare daily bank deposit reconciliations for use by accounting
  • prepare daily Bingo and Slot bank deposits
  • sort daily documents including checks, jackpots and prepare tape totals for each category
  • perform other position requirements as assigned by Vault Lead, Cage Manager, or Floor Manager
  • must understand and comply with departmental internal control regulations
  • work any and all shifts including nights and weekends as casino operations run 24/7
  • other duties as assigned
