Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics or related field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to interact directly with US Customs and Border Protection officials regularly
  • Federal background check and fingerprinting required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and casual environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Located in or willing to commute to Vans HQ in Costa Mesa, California
  • Able to work hybrid schedule with 3 days in office

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection regulations
  • Experience with SAP or other enterprise systems desired

Job Duties

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual FTZ forms and reports for CBP and the FTZ ensuring that they are timely, complete and accurate
  • Operate the FTZ inventory control and recordkeeping system
  • Verify inventory transactions
  • Process and verify FTZ related data
  • Track and manage receipts by monitoring inbound shipments
  • Prepare in-transit entries (in-bond) and/or permit-to-transfers with CBP
  • Coordination with other departments impacted by imports
  • Conduct audits of transactions and processes and make recommendations on improvements
  • Maintain proper record keeping and management reporting (may include weekly financial reports)
