Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics or related field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working alone or in a team
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and casual environment
  • Ability to implement best practices and continuous improvement
  • Federal background check and fingerprinting required
  • Located at Vans HQ in Costa Mesa, California with hybrid work schedule (3 days in office)

  • Experience with SAP or other enterprise systems desired
  • Federal background and fingerprinting clearance

Job Duties

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual FTZ forms and reports for CBP and the FTZ ensuring that they are timely, complete and accurate
  • Operate the FTZ inventory control and recordkeeping system
  • Verify inventory transactions
  • process and verify FTZ related data
  • Track and manage receipts by monitoring inbound shipments
  • prepare in-transit entries (in-bond) and or permit-to-transfers with CBP
  • Coordination with other departments impacted by imports
  • Conduct audits of transactions and processes and make recommendations on improvements
  • Maintain proper record keeping and management reporting (may include weekly financial reports)
  • Provide a unique perspective to fuel global growth
