Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience working with children preferred
- able to perform intermediate administrative tasks
- ability to supervise children effectively
- CPR certification must be obtained within first month of hire
- First Aid certification must be obtained within first month of hire
- availability to work after school hours Monday through Friday
Job Qualifications
- General knowledge of practices, methods, and techniques used with children
- ability to maintain confidential files and information
- dependable
- ability to maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, and co-workers

Job Duties
- Lead activities as directed by the lead teacher or SAC Coordinator
- follow the daily plan for room
- manage arrival and dismissal of students and other desk duties
- room/site supervision as needed
- follow schedule for students outside activities such as ball, summer school, swim lessons
- interact with children
- discipline as needed
- keep lead teacher updated regarding student behaviors and needs
- prepare room as needed
- supervise and provide direction for classroom assistants
