Job Requirements
- valid Class B license
- ability to operate a computer, printer, copier, and telephone
- physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a pleasant demeanor
- knowledge of hotel and city
- ability to understand and obey all traffic rules, speed limits, and driving regulations
- professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests and team members
- must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- availability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in guest services or hospitality preferred
- valid Class B license
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- knowledge of local area attractions and directions
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence
Job Duties
- drive guests between airport and hotel and the local area
- obey all traffic rules and speed limits for safe, accident free trips
- open and close vehicle doors for guests
- check guest luggage for both day and overnight visits
- assist guests with storing and retrieving their luggage
- utilize bell carts to transfer luggage and packages
- run hotel errands as instructed by management
- maintain and clean designated lobby station and baggage room
- ensure lobby area and hotel exterior/interior is neat and clean
- greet and welcome guests to the hotel
- provide travel directions and recommendations for local attractions
- answer phones to assist guest calls
- restock supplies at front desk and business center
- clean and inspect hotel vehicles
- maintain vehicle cleanliness, pump gas, and arrange oil changes
- complete vehicle mileage reports
- promptly report emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, mechanical problems and safety hazards to management
- maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- adhere to hotel taxi stand requirements and agreements
- follow all company policies and procedures
- comply with safety and security procedures and rules
- know department fire prevention and emergency procedures
- utilize protective equipment
- report unsafe conditions and accidents to supervisor
- assist other front desk personnel when needed
- perform other related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
