Job Requirements
- Valid Class B license

- ability to understand and obey all traffic rules, speed limits and federal, state and local driving regulations

- ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient while maintaining a pleasant cheerful demeanor
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- experience in a customer-facing role preferred
- basic knowledge of hospitality industry standards
Job Duties
- Drive guests between airport and hotel and the local area
- obey all traffic rules and speed limits for safe, accident free trips
- open and close vehicle doors for guests
- check guest luggage for both day and overnight visits
- assist guests with storing and retrieving their luggage, and if requested, from their vehicle
- utilize bell carts to transfer luggage and packages to and from rooms, vehicles, and/or loading areas
- run hotel errands as instructed by management
- maintain and clean the designated lobby station and baggage room
- ensure that lobby area and front exterior/interior of the hotel is neat and clean at all times by picking up trash, adjusting furniture to proper positions
- stand by ready to assist guests, greeting and welcoming guests to the hotel
- assist in providing travel directions, recommendations for local attractions, restaurants and other services
- answering phones to assist PBX/Guest calls
- restocking supplies at the front desk and business center such as cookies, paper supplies
- clean and inspect hotel vehicles
- maintain vehicle cleanliness, pump gas, and obtain oil changes
- complete vehicle mileage reports
- prompt reporting of all emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, mechanical problems and safety hazards to management
- maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- adhere to hotel taxi stand requirement and agreements
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- follow safety and security procedures and rules
- know department fire prevention and emergency procedures
- utilize protective equipment
- report unsafe conditions to supervisor/manager
- report accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to supervisor/manager
- provide for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules
- assist other Front Desk personnel when needed
- perform any related duties as requested by supervisor/manager
