Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class B driver’s license
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Availability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Good physical stamina and mobility
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adhere to safety and operational procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class B license
  • Professional and positive attitude and communication skills
  • Knowledge of hotel and city
  • Ability to understand and obey all traffic rules and driving regulations
  • Ability to operate a computer, printer, copier, and telephone
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a pleasant demeanor

Job Duties

  • Drive guests between airport and hotel and the local area
  • Obey all traffic rules and speed limits for safe, accident free trips
  • Open and close vehicle doors for guests
  • Check guest luggage for both day and overnight visits
  • Assist guests with storing and retrieving their luggage, including from their vehicles
  • Utilize bell carts to transfer luggage and packages to and from rooms, vehicles, and loading areas
  • Run hotel errands as instructed by management
  • Maintain and clean the designated lobby station and baggage room
  • Ensure lobby and hotel exterior/interior areas are neat and clean
  • Greet and welcome guests to the hotel
  • Provide travel directions and recommendations for local attractions and services
  • Answer phones to assist PBX/Guest calls
  • Restock supplies at the front desk and business center
  • Clean and inspect hotel vehicles, maintain cleanliness, pump gas, and obtain oil changes
  • Complete vehicle mileage reports
  • Promptly report emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, mechanical problems, and safety hazards to management
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Adhere to hotel taxi stand requirements and agreements
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Follow safety and security procedures and rules
  • Know fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • Utilize protective equipment
  • Report unsafe conditions to supervisor/manager
  • Report accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to supervisor/manager
  • Provide a safe work environment by following all safety and security rules
  • Assist other Front Desk Personnel as needed
  • Perform any related duties as requested by supervisor/manager
