Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum six months experience in a similar role
- Ability to work scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday
- Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events required
- Must be able to work overtime if necessary
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including standing and walking for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum six months experience in a similar job
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to operate parking procedures and handle vehicle keys responsibly
- Familiarity with local area and attractions preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
Job Duties
- Open hotel and casino main doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the property
- Assist guests with opening and closing vehicle doors
- Welcome guests and visitors with appropriate greetings of the day
- Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
- Tag guest vehicle keys with date and time, make, model and guest name
- Park and retrieve guests cars without causing damage
- Provide guests with information regarding property facilities, amenities, services, and hours of operation
- Provide guests with directions and local areas of interest and activities
- Ensure vehicles are legally parked to maintain smooth and efficient traffic flow
- Ensure all guests' valet experiences are memorable, unique and according to hotel standards
- Document and report vehicle incidents like damages, accidents, theft, or missing articles
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to supervisor or manager
- Monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas and valet stand
- Report any security or safety problems to supervisors
