Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Possession of valid California Driver License and a good driving record
  • Must be insurable by Valley View Casino & Hotel's insurance policy
  • Physical endurance and stamina to retrieve and park vehicles quickly
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, guidelines and policies
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to analyze problems involving several concrete variables and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions
  • Good judgment when providing information and maintaining guest relations
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain Gaming License from Tribal Gaming Agency
  • Must pass applicable auditions or skill testing and a drug screening test

  • Gaming license from Tribal Gaming Agency
  • Successful completion of applicable auditions or skill tests
  • Successful completion of a drug screening test
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times, resolving guest complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Greet guests in a courteous and caring manner using personalized service
  • Assist customers promptly and courteously in valet check-in and checkout
  • Retrieve all pick-ups from the valet lot in an efficient and timely manner according to safety guidelines
  • Promptly clear valet drop-off area of cars to be parked
  • Park vehicles in designated areas and accurately record vehicle location on valet receipt
  • Present a clean, neat and well-groomed appearance wearing designated uniform
  • Maintain an inventory count of all valet keys checked in and out
  • Be accountable for accuracy of departmental records and reports
  • Communicate effectively with the lead valet attendant
  • Maintain knowledge of company facilities and special events to advise guests and team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Conduct all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner
  • Maintain consistent and regular attendance record
  • Adhere to performance standards, company policies and procedures related to the department
