Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid California Driver License and good driving record
  • Must be insurable by Valley View Casino & Hotel's insurance policy
  • Physical endurance and stamina for vehicle retrieval and parking
  • Ability to speak, understand, and write English
  • Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules and company policies
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions
  • Ability to analyze problems and collect data
  • Ability to work with fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • Must maintain positive guest relations and exercise good judgment
  • Must apply for and maintain Gaming License
  • Must pass auditions, skill tests, and drug screening
  • Flexible to work all shifts as casino operates 24/7

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Possession of valid California Driver License and good driving record
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and company policies
  • Ability to apply common sense and judgment in carrying out instructions
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to pass auditions, skill testing, and drug screening
  • Must apply for and maintain Gaming License from Tribal Gaming Agency

Job Duties

  • Support and uphold Valley View Casino & Hotel's Standards of Excellence
  • Maintain positive guest relations and resolve guest complaints
  • Greet guests courteously using personalized service
  • Assist customers promptly in Valet check-in and checkout
  • Retrieve pick-ups from the Valet lot efficiently and safely
  • Clear valet drop-off area promptly
  • Park vehicles accurately and record locations on Valet receipts
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance in designated uniform
  • Keep accurate inventory of valet keys
  • Communicate effectively with Lead Valet Attendant
  • Maintain knowledge of company facilities and special events
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Conduct responsibilities professionally and ethically
  • Maintain consistent attendance
  • Adhere to performance standards and company policies
