Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years full-time verifiable driving experience with similar vehicles
  • Valid driver license
  • Meet company insurance requirements for vehicle operation
  • Must be at least 25 years old to operate shuttle or drive guests and 21 years old for other vehicle operations
  • No positive drug or alcohol tests including pre-employment, random, post-accident, or reasonable suspicion
  • No more than 2 moving traffic violations in the previous 36 months
  • No speeding violations over 25 MPH over the speed limit in last 36 months
  • No DUI convictions in last 5 years
  • No vehicular homicide, manslaughter, assault, or felony involving vehicle use
  • No operating vehicle with suspended or revoked license
  • No reckless driving or speed contests
  • Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per company standards
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to stand, lift up to 45 lbs, push/pull equipment up to 250 lbs
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Ability to follow safety and security policies
  • Ability to report maintenance and safety issues promptly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Detail oriented with outstanding organizational abilities
  • Basic computer skills including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, POS
  • Basic computational ability
  • Valid driver license and meets insurance requirements for vehicle operation
  • Ability to work independently and self-driven

Job Duties

  • Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
  • Inform guests of safety features and promote hotel outlets
  • Offer information on hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
  • Store guest luggage and assist with loading and unloading vehicles
  • Call taxi services as requested by guests
  • Maintain and prepare tour and delivery paperwork
  • Supervise group baggage transfers and amenity deliveries
  • Maintain check-in station for organization and operational effectiveness
  • Assist other departments with transporting supplies
  • Promote a positive working environment in accordance with employee handbook
  • Maintain cleanliness of valet stand, driveway, and bell equipment
  • Safely operate guest vehicles in compliance with traffic laws
  • Create weekly staffing schedules for valet department
  • Provide initial and ongoing training for valet associates
  • Perform bi-weekly payroll processing including timecard approvals and bonuses
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management
