Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years full-time verifiable similar vehicle driving experience
- No positive drug or alcohol tests including pre-employment random and post-accident
- No more than 2 moving traffic violations in the past 36 months
- No speeding violations over 25 MPH above limit in past 36 months
- No DUI convictions in previous 5 years
- No vehicular homicide manslaughter or assault history
- No operating vehicle with suspended or revoked license
- No use of vehicle in commission of felony
- No operating vehicle without owner permission
- No reckless driving or speed contests
- No leaving the scene of accident
- No eluding police
- No operating cell phone while driving violations
- Must be at least 25 years old to operate shuttle or drive guests
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate own or company vehicle other than shuttle
- Must maintain neat clean and well-groomed appearance per company standards
- Able to stand walk and exert mobility for up to 4 hours
- Able to lift up to 45 lbs and push pull carts up to 250 lbs
- Ability to perform bending stooping squatting and stretching occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Good communication skills verbal written and electronic
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Windows OS MS Office PMS PBX Key system POS
- Valid driver license meeting company insurance requirements
- Ability to work independently and self-driven
Job Duties
- Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
- Inform guests of all safety features and promote hotel outlets
- Offer information pertaining to available hotel services and local attractions
- Store guest luggage and assist with loading and unloading into vehicles
- Call taxis for guests as requested
- Prepare and maintain tour and delivery paperwork ensuring accuracy
- Supervise group baggage transfers and amenity deliveries
- Maintain valet station appearance and organization
- Assist other departments with transporting supplies
- Promote a positive working environment and follow employee guidelines
- Complete daily maintenance of valet stand, driveway, bell closet, and carts
- Safely operate guest vehicles and obey all traffic laws
- Create weekly staffing schedules for the valet department
- Provide initial and ongoing training for valet associates
- Perform bi-weekly payroll processing and approve timecards
- Carry out other duties assigned by management or supervisors
