Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hospitality preferred
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Minimum of three years driving similar vehicles full-time
  • No positive drug or alcohol tests
  • No more than two moving violations in the last 36 months
  • No DUI convictions in past five years
  • Must be at least 25 years old to operate shuttle vehicles
  • Must be at least 21 years old to operate other company vehicles
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 250 pounds
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work varied schedules
  • Maintain neat and professional grooming per standards
  • Ability to stand or walk for up to four hours continuously
  • Basic computer and math skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong customer relations and organizational abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency including Windows OS and MS Office
  • Knowledge of PMS, PBX, key system and POS
  • Valid driver's license meeting company insurance requirements
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to handle guest conflicts with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to operate motorized and electric vehicles safely

Job Duties

  • Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
  • Inform guests of all safety features and promote hotel outlets when possible
  • Offer information about available services and local attractions
  • Store guest luggage upon request and assist with loading and unloading into automobiles
  • Call taxis for guests as requested
  • Prepare and maintain all tour and delivery paperwork and supervise group baggage transfers
  • Maintain the check-in station and parking areas for cleanliness and operational effectiveness
  • Assist other departments with transporting boxes and supplies
  • Promote a positive working environment and follow employee guidelines
  • Create weekly staffing schedules and provide training for valet associates
  • Perform bi-weekly payroll processing and approve timecards
  • Safely operate guest vehicles in compliance with traffic laws
  • Complete all other duties assigned by management
  • Assist with guest inquiries and report maintenance or safety issues
  • Follow all company safety and security policies
  • Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance as per company standards
