Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of hotel industry experience
- Current valid driver’s license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Knowledge of local businesses and community
- Ability to lift and carry up to 65 lbs
- Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for prolonged periods
- Physically able to grasp handles and carry bundles
- Willingness to work in physically strenuous environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in the hotel industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Knowledge of local establishments and the surrounding community
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival by unloading luggage and transporting it to rooms
- Park vehicles, secure keys, and document details including location, guest name, and vehicle information
- Drive vehicles safely and efficiently
- Assist guests with luggage transport upon departure
- Maintain written logs of guest requests and deliveries
- Respond to inquiries and promote hotel services in person and by phone
- Keep up-to-date with local area information to provide accurate recommendations
- Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor at all times
- Deliver newspapers to occupied rooms if applicable
- Ensure security by carrying a radio, patrolling floors and access points
- Create and maintain scheduling and staffing levels for the Valet Team
- Motivate and coach team members to perform at high levels
- Offer suggestions for operational and service improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
