Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid state issued driver’s license
- fluency in verbal English
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- strong common sense and courtesy
- prior experience in valet or parking operations preferred
Job Qualifications
- Must hold a valid state issued driver’s license
- must be fluent in verbal English
- excellent communication and leadership skills
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- experience in managing teams preferred
- knowledge of vehicle handling and safety procedures
- basic computer skills for maintaining logs and reports
Job Duties
- Lead, train, and motivate valet attendants to deliver exceptional guest service
- schedule and assign daily shifts to maintain adequate staffing levels
- monitor employee performance
- oversee vehicle check-in/check-out procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- manage traffic flow to prevent congestion and maintain safety at drop-off and pick-up areas
- inspect the valet area, equipment, and uniforms to ensure cleanliness and professionalism
- handle guest complaints, service issues, or incidents promptly and professionally
- greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience
- anticipate guest needs and provide assistance with luggage, directions, or other services as needed
- promote a culture of courtesy, integrity, and respect among team members
- lead by example in demonstrating service excellence standards in every guest interaction
- maintain accurate logs for vehicle inventory, tickets, and any incidents
- report and document any vehicle damage or guest concerns immediately
- manage valet revenue reports and ensure accurate cash handling
- coordinate with hotel, event, or facility management teams on special events or VIP services
