Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) and drug screen
- Completion of Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park
- Six months related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing Standard English
- Ability to comprehend instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Strong communication skills for presentations
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time formats
- Ability to interpret applicable rates
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park
- Six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to drive manual transmission
- Able to speak, read and write Standard English language
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Able to write simple correspondence
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and associates
- Able to apply reasoning and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Able to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
- Able to perform mathematical operations using units of American money
- Able to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Able to clearly understand rates applicable to time passed
Job Duties
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, client staff members and coworkers
- Acknowledge and greet guests within 30 seconds of arrival to create favorable first and last impressions
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests and explain vehicle parking and retrieval procedures
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving cautiously
- Use proper phone etiquette and post up in appropriate areas when not assisting guests
- Conduct effective room presentations and assist with delivery and pick up of items to guest rooms
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Promote teamwork by leading through example and effective communication
- Assign coworkers to routine and non-ordinary roles as directed
- Issue claim checks to guests only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Secure all keys properly and complete damage surveys and ticket information
- Ensure no "lift" services are provided, only assistance with wheelchairs
- Check and clean wheelchairs and protect guest confidentiality
- Assist Account Manager with scheduling, notifying associates of changes and collecting revenue
- Complete cash drop slips, shift reports, reconcile tickets and revenue at end of shift
