Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with no tickets, accidents, or moving violations in the past 12 months for Valet position
- Ability to drive manual or automatic transmission for valet position
- Works indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather including extreme temperatures and high humidity
- Full availability seven days per week including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass standard employment background checks
- Able to lift and carry guest luggage and items
- Willingness to provide exceptional guest service
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred
- Previous experience working in a parking facility or similar service preferred
- Knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- High guest service expectations
Job Duties
- Park and drive vehicles
- Manage parking areas including barricades and directing traffic
- Transport guests to various locations
- Transport guest luggage including rooms, vehicles, storage
- Care and storage of guest property
- Deliver items to guest rooms including newspapers, packages, express check-outs
- Greet guests with positive, friendly, and helpful attitude
- Proactively address guests’ needs by answering questions and giving directions
