Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record for valet position
- ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme temperatures and high humidity
- full availability seven days per week including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with no tickets, accidents, or moving violations in the past 12 months
- ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions
- excellent communication skills
- friendly and positive attitude
- prior experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred
- previous experience working in parking facilities such as airports or private parking structures preferred
- knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language preferred
Job Duties
- Park and drive vehicles
- manage parking areas such as barricades and directing traffic
- transport guests to various resort locations
- transport guest luggage including rooms, vehicles, and storage
- care and storage of guest property
- deliver items to guest rooms including newspapers, express check-outs, and guest deliveries such as flowers and packages
- greet guests with a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude
- proactively address guest needs by answering questions, giving directions, and providing information about the hotel, resort, or surrounding areas
