Job Requirements

Must be 19 years of age with 3 years driving experience
high school diploma or GED certificate
possess excellent communication skills
fluent in English language
ability to deal effectively with business contacts and employees
ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically
ability to follow instructions in various formats
maintain Alcohol Awareness Card
produce acceptable annual driving record
be physically capable of standing, walking, running/jogging over 50% of shift
able to lift and/or move up to 65 pounds
maintain physical stamina to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Previous valet experience preferred
must be 19 years of age with 3 years driving experience
high school diploma or GED certificate
excellent communication skills both written and oral
fluent in English language
interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts and employees at all levels
results oriented, hands-on professional with ability to interact well with customers and employees
ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions through decisive judgment
ability to interpret and follow instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
must obtain and maintain Alcohol Awareness Card
must produce acceptable driving record annually to management

Job Duties

Open hotel main doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property
assist guests with opening/closing vehicle doors
welcome guests and visitors with appropriate greetings of the day
acknowledge and greet guests within 25 to 30 seconds and provide professional, fast and friendly service
communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors
tag guest vehicle keys with date & time, registration number, make/model, room number or contact number of the guest
verify guests ticket with the one attached to the key before handing over keys or vehicle to the guest
effectively park and retrieve guests cars without causing damage
drive and operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
provide guests with information regarding property facilities, amenities, services, special events
give fond farewell to all guests who are departing
monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property, including guest vehicles, taxi cabs, limousines, buses and rideshare
maintain the security of vehicles, belongings inside the car and vehicle keys
follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction
document and report all vehicle incidents like damages, accidents, theft, missing articles
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to supervisor or manager
monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas, portico and key booth
re-route traffic when parking facility reaches maximum capacity and ensure staff is informed
