Job Requirements
- must possess a valid driver’s license and have no more than 2 points within the last two year period
- must have less than 3 points on license at time of hire
- must be able to be insured by hospital insurance for driving, if not may be terminated
- must report additional points obtained to hr within 48 hours of issue that may affect insurance eligibility
- must be able to effectively operate all standard and automatic transmission vehicles
- must be able to walk for extended periods of time
- bending to get into and out of cars on a continual basis
- able to assist customer into wheelchairs and push them into the building
- able to lift light to medium weight overnight bags and packages into the lobby area
- ability to effectively communicate with customers and relevant personnel
- must be able to work outside in all types of weather
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license with no more than 2 points within the last two years
- ability to be insured under hospital insurance policies
- effective communication skills
- ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles
- physical ability to assist customers and walk extensively
- flexibility to perform other duties such as entrance screening and visitation management
Job Duties
- greet customers and park their vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- assist patients and visitors with wheelchairs
- help customers enter and exit vehicles
- operate standard and automatic transmission vehicles
- walk for extended periods and assist with lifting light to medium weight bags and packages
- communicate effectively with customers and hospital staff
- work outdoors in all types of weather
