Job Duties

  • Control and direct vehicle traffic for personal and commercial vehicles, including guest cars, taxis, limousines, and buses to ensure legal parking and efficient traffic flow
  • Monitor and maintain the safety, protection, and cleanliness of parking areas and report any hazards or security issues to management
  • Communicate parking procedures clearly to guests and visitors
  • Divert traffic when parking facilities reach full capacity and ensure staff are informed
  • Review employee shift logs and daily memo books and document pertinent information
  • Provide directions and information to guests about hotel amenities, services, service hours, and local points of interest
  • Conduct nightly audits of vehicles parked with claim stubs, resolve discrepancies, and submit charge lists to the night auditor
  • Maintain security of vehicles and keys
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Safeguard proprietary information and company assets
  • Welcome and recognize all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate guest service needs and attend to them with genuine appreciation
  • Assist persons with disabilities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others
  • Answer phones using proper protocol
  • Support colleagues with dignity and respect
  • Perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods and moving light objects under 10 pounds
  • Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
