Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or related field
- valid Texas driver's license and good driving record
- ability to operate manual transmission vehicle
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- physical ability to perform tasks including standing long hours, running at top speed, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting luggage up to 75 lbs
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- willingness to comply with company attendance and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalency
- at least one year of progressive experience in customer service, hospitality, or related field
- ability to resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
- fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- ability to operate computer software preferred
- ability to deal with customers with patience, tact, and diplomacy
- proficiently drive a manual transmission vehicle
- valid Texas driver's license with good driving record
Job Duties
- Park guest vehicles and retrieve valet parked guest vehicles in a timely and courteous manner
- use claim tickets to ensure appropriate delivery of vehicle
- convey information and ideas clearly
- approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hospitality Parking standards
- comply with safety standards and regulations
- establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow employees and other departments
- load and unload luggage carts and vehicles when necessary
- escort guests to rooms and familiarize them with hotel/restaurant services and amenities when necessary
- check/store luggage for arrivals and departures with luggage tags when necessary
- provide information, maps, and directions as required
- assist supervisor with answering telephone calls promptly
- maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and assist as needed
- solicit guest feedback and offer apologies when presented with problems
- use proper two-way radio etiquette
- attend meetings and training as required
- maintain a clean work area
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
