Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid California driver’s license
  • good driving record
  • ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles
  • minimum one year experience as Valet Parking Attendant in luxury hospitality
  • availability to work on-call hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • strong customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Valid California driver’s license
  • good driving record
  • ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
  • at least one year experience as Valet Parking Attendant in a luxury hospitality setting
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Greets guests who arrive by private car and assists guests descending from cars
  • issues appropriate valet parking ticket to guests when door staff is unavailable
  • drives car to hotel or local garage adhering to all traffic regulations and speed limits while using caution to avoid damage
  • assesses any damage to vehicles and notes it on claim tickets along with vehicle location when parked
  • deposits key and ticket with Valet Cashier
  • opens hotel doors for guests and gives verbal welcome when not parking or retrieving cars
  • provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and attractions
  • handles guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodates special requests, resolves complaints, assists with inquiries regarding hotel services and events
