Job Requirements

  • Valid California driver’s license
  • good driving record
  • ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles
  • minimum one-year experience in luxury hospitality as valet parking attendant

  • good driving record
  • ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
  • at least one-year experience in luxury hospitality setting as Valet Parking Attendant

Job Duties

  • Greet guests who arrive by private car and assist guests descending from cars
  • issue appropriate valet parking ticket to guests when Door Staff is unavailable
  • drive car to hotel or local garage, adhering to all traffic regulations and speed limits, using caution not to damage vehicles
  • assess any damage to vehicle and clearly note damage on claim ticket along with location of vehicle when parked
  • deposit key and ticket with Valet Cashier
  • open hotel doors for all guests and give verbal welcome when not parking or retrieving guest cars
  • provide guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions
  • hail taxis as needed
  • handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests
  • resolve customer complaints
  • assist customers in inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operation, key hotel personnel, and in-house events
