Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license for the state of employment or nearby
- One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Capability to operate vehicles safely and cautiously
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability to work weekends, holidays and multiple shifts
- Willingness to follow established practices and operational procedures
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy in ticketing and cash handling
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver's license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions and short correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using American currency
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates for time usage
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly attitude
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about hotel outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect checks before returning keys
- Complete and maintain accurate ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect parking revenue as required
