Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- High school diploma or GED
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately
- Willingness to work various shifts including weekends, holidays, mornings, afternoons, and evenings
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license for the working state or within a commutable distance
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with units of American money
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with professionalism
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries
- Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks after collecting vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks prior to vehicle key issuance
- Complete and maintain ticket information accurately including damage surveys and key tags
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
