Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver's license for the work state or commutable distance
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic math skills applicable to the role
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work overnight shift Wednesday through Sunday
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing stairs, balance, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to operate vehicles safely under specified guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division related to money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Knowledge of customer and personal services principles
- Valid driver's license as applicable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner and use guest last names
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously while assisting guests with bell services and luggage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and provide information about the facility and local area
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Explain parking rates and procedures, issue claim checks only after receiving keys, collect claim checks before returning keys, and maintain accurate parking and ticket records
