Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS Driver's License in accordance with the Crouse Health Driving Policy
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle with either an automatic or standard transmission
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to get in and out of vehicles without assistance
- Ability to work per diem schedule as needed
- Willingness to perform courier duties as assigned
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS Driver's License in accordance with the Crouse Health Driving Policy
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle with either an automatic or standard transmission
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work per diem schedule including day and evening shifts
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and withstand various weather conditions
- Prior experience in valet or customer service roles preferred
Job Duties
- Drive patient and guest vehicles to designated areas and safely park them
- Organize and complete valet tickets and accounting forms in a neat and orderly fashion as well as document all pertinent information
- Receive cash, cash receipts, credit card payments, and handle a cash drawer
- Maintain order of the valet parking lot by organizing vehicles for efficient retrieval
- Retrieve vehicles when patients and guests are ready to leave
- Safely operate different types and sizes of vehicles in a safe and acceptable manner within hospital driving policy standards
- Display excellent public relations skills while providing information, giving directions, assisting with luggage, and providing wheelchair assistance
