Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
  • One month related experience or training
  • Ability to provide customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
  • Understanding of time systems and rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment
  • One month related experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations involving American money
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Understanding of time-based rates
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, or guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
