Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent general education development certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Open availability

Job Duties

  • Open doors and assist guests and visitors as they enter and leave the hotel
  • Control and direct traffic of personal and commercial vehicles including guest vehicles, taxis, limousines, and buses to ensure legal parking and maintain a smooth and efficient traffic flow
  • Provide directions and information to guests regarding hotel amenities, services, service hours, and local points of interest
  • Monitor and maintain security, protection, and cleanliness of parking areas and report any vehicle risks or security issues to the manager or supervisor
  • Maintain the security of vehicles and their keys
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions, complete training and obtain safety certifications
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and meet guest service needs
  • Thank guests sincerely
  • Assist persons with disabilities
  • Use clear and professional language
  • Handle telephones using proper protocol
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • Support the team in achieving common goals
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods during the workday
  • Move, lift, carry, push, drag, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without help
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
