Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • ability to drive all types of vehicles including automatic and manual
  • ability to work full-time days
  • ability to work most holidays with extra pay differential
  • ability to work in varied weather conditions
  • wear approved uniform and maintain professional grooming
  • capacity to deal with disruptive individuals compassionately
  • ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, stooping frequently
  • ability to maintain constant flow of traffic
  • ability to conduct parking area audits and monitor safety and security
  • willingness to provide wheelchair assistance and escorts

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license
  • excellent customer service skills
  • very good verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to drive vehicles with automatic and standard shift
  • ability to work in all weather conditions
  • professional appearance and clean shaven
  • ability to handle disruptive and impatient people calmly
  • knowledge of traffic flow management
  • basic physical fitness to perform required duties
  • familiarity with safety and security practices

Job Duties

  • Exhibits professional image towards patients, visitors, employees
  • provide wheelchair assistance and escorts into building
  • maintain traffic flow in the vehicle staging area
  • monitor assigned work area for cleanliness and safety concerns
  • monitor all parking areas for parking violations, safety, security issues
  • direct motorists to available parking spaces
  • prepare for work by checking bulletins, posts, or schedule changes
  • verify that adequate supplies are on hand
  • keep accurate and orderly records of parked vehicles
  • assess vehicles and note existing damage
  • operate vehicles safely and efficiently
  • conduct audits of parking areas to monitor activity and provide directions or traffic control
