Job Duties
- Greets and directs patients and visitors arriving at the facility to their destination while creating a positive image of the organization
- Operates guest's vehicle in a safe manner and ensures the vehicle is locked after parking it in the designated area
- Keeps the front clear of vehicles by preventing long-term parking and counts cars parked in designated valet areas
- Prepares valet parking reports daily and logs incidents, informing supervisors of needs, problems, and activities
- Reports parking violations to the security officer and alerts security to any crimes or vandalism
- Physically assists those exiting their vehicle with limited mobility
- Determines urgency of situations, calms patients if necessary, and makes appropriate referrals
- Safely transports patients, employees, and guests on the Avera McKennan campus
- Operates the courtesy shuttle vehicle safely, following all traffic laws, and ensures it is locked after parking
- Ensures vehicle cleanliness and professional presentation
- Maintains fuel levels, records daily logs, and completes mileage documentation
