Job Requirements
- Must be able to work the specified hours Monday to Friday 5:30am to 8:00pm PRN
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate verbally and understand speech and other sounds
- Physical ability to assist individuals with limited mobility if needed
- Ability to follow all traffic laws and safety regulations

- Experience operating vehicles safely in a public or healthcare setting preferred
Job Duties
- Greets and directs patients and visitors arriving at the facility to their destination while creating a positive image of the organization
- Operates guests' vehicles in a safe manner and ensures vehicles are locked after parking in designated areas
- Prepares valet parking reports daily and logs incidents that occur
- Reports parking violations to the security officer and alerts security to any crimes or acts of vandalism
- Physically assists individuals with limited mobility when exiting vehicles
- Determines urgency of situations, calms patients if necessary, and makes appropriate referrals
- Safely transports patients, employees, and guests on Avera McKennan campus using the courtesy shuttle
- Operates the courtesy shuttle vehicle safely, following traffic laws and maintains cleanliness and professional presentation of the vehicle
- Ensures the shuttle vehicle is filled with gas and oil, maintains records on a daily log, and completes mileage documentation
- Communicates effectively with supervisors regarding needs, problems, and activities related to parking and shuttle services
