Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work specified hours including early mornings
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physical ability to assist patients with limited mobility
  • Willingness to comply with hospital safety, confidentiality, and operational standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and team members
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to assisting individuals with limited mobility
  • Basic knowledge of traffic laws and vehicle operation
  • Capability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment

Job Duties

  • Greets and directs patients and visitors arriving at the facility to their destination while creating a positive image of the organization
  • Operate guests' vehicles safely and ensure vehicles are locked after parking
  • Prepare daily valet parking reports and log any incidents
  • Report parking violations and alert security to any crimes or vandalism
  • Assist patients with limited mobility physically as needed
  • Determine urgency in situations and make appropriate referrals
  • Safely transport patients, employees, and guests on campus via courtesy shuttle
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the shuttle vehicle
  • Ensure shuttle vehicle is fueled, maintain daily logs, and complete mileage documentation
