Job Requirements
- Must be able to work specified hours including early mornings
- Visual acuity adequate to perform duties
- Ability to communicate effectively, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to assist patients with limited mobility
- Willingness to comply with hospital safety, confidentiality, and operational standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and team members
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to assisting individuals with limited mobility
- Basic knowledge of traffic laws and vehicle operation
- Capability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment
Job Duties
- Greets and directs patients and visitors arriving at the facility to their destination while creating a positive image of the organization
- Operate guests' vehicles safely and ensure vehicles are locked after parking
- Prepare daily valet parking reports and log any incidents
- Report parking violations and alert security to any crimes or vandalism
- Assist patients with limited mobility physically as needed
- Determine urgency in situations and make appropriate referrals
- Safely transport patients, employees, and guests on campus via courtesy shuttle
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the shuttle vehicle
- Ensure shuttle vehicle is fueled, maintain daily logs, and complete mileage documentation
