Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • knowledge of basic computer functions
  • must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course
  • must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • must have driver's license on person at all times
  • must be in good athletic condition
  • ability to run, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear
  • occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing
  • specific vision abilities including color and depth perception
  • frequent exposure to outside weather conditions
  • noise level in work environment is usually moderate

Job Duties

  • Monitor the overall operation for valet on his/her shift
  • fill in for runner on their days off or during peak times, heavy rains, or when short team members
  • perform dispatching duties for both check-in and return of guest's vehicles
  • deliver and retrieve guest vehicles to and from casino front entrance/hotel entrance and valet parking lot when necessary
  • run to the valet lot and bring the vehicle to the casino/hotel from entrance
  • lock vehicle and give keys to dispatcher
  • adhere to all departmental safety standards
  • maintain a clean and neat appearance
  • maintain a valid driver's license in the state of residence and a clean driving record
  • adhere to all company and department policies, procedures and safety standards
  • exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members
  • perform any duties assigned by Guest Safety Services Manager or another member of management
