Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- possess a valid driver's license from the state
- maintain a good driving record
- one or two years of valet experience preferred
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, running, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance
- ability to interact effectively with the public and team members
- ability to respond well to customer complaints and resolve issues
- must be able to drive a shuttle van according to license requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one or two years valet experience preferred
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- valid driver's license from the State
- good driving record
- ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents
- ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Job Duties
- Interact effectively with the public and team members
- perform excellent customer service at all times
- supervise and direct the operations of the Valet Department on assigned shift in the absence of the Transportation Supervisor
- assist customers promptly and courteously in valet check-in and checkout
- run (never walk) for all pick-ups from the valet lot in accordance with established safety guidelines
- park vehicles in designated areas and accurately record location onto valet receipt
- maintain appropriate staffing levels in the Transportation Department
- observe activities and procedures of Valet Team Members to ensure smooth operation of assigned shift
- ensure maximum customer service and satisfaction
- be accountable for accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports
- resolve customer and team member complaints or problems consistent with company expectations
- drive shuttle van and shuttle no more passengers than license allows
- maintain a consistent, regular attendance record
- carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining team members
- address complaints and resolve problems in accordance with organizational policies and laws
- perform any reasonable request made by management
