Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • possess a valid driver's license from the state
  • maintain a good driving record
  • one or two years of valet experience preferred
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, running, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance
  • ability to interact effectively with the public and team members
  • ability to respond well to customer complaints and resolve issues
  • must be able to drive a shuttle van according to license requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one or two years valet experience preferred
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • valid driver's license from the State
  • good driving record
  • ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents
  • ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Job Duties

  • Interact effectively with the public and team members
  • perform excellent customer service at all times
  • supervise and direct the operations of the Valet Department on assigned shift in the absence of the Transportation Supervisor
  • assist customers promptly and courteously in valet check-in and checkout
  • run (never walk) for all pick-ups from the valet lot in accordance with established safety guidelines
  • park vehicles in designated areas and accurately record location onto valet receipt
  • maintain appropriate staffing levels in the Transportation Department
  • observe activities and procedures of Valet Team Members to ensure smooth operation of assigned shift
  • ensure maximum customer service and satisfaction
  • be accountable for accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports
  • resolve customer and team member complaints or problems consistent with company expectations
  • drive shuttle van and shuttle no more passengers than license allows
  • maintain a consistent, regular attendance record
  • carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining team members
  • address complaints and resolve problems in accordance with organizational policies and laws
  • perform any reasonable request made by management
