Job Duties
- operate and control laundry machinery including washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines
- add chemicals and clean lint filters
- identify and treat stained or damaged items
- inspect cleanliness of laundered items and arrange them on carts
- program time and temperature of dryers based on fabric type
- remove lint and debris from filters after each load
- fold clean items manually or using folding machines
- keep accurate records of washed and ironed items
- comply with safety policies and report hazards or incidents
- maintain personal appearance and professional demeanor
- protect company property and information
- support and respect coworkers
- meet quality assurance standards
- move, lift, push, and transport objects under 25 pounds
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- inspect tools and machinery for defects
- perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing
- undertake additional tasks as requested by supervisors
