Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of relevant experience and/or training
- Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license with no recent violations
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor
- Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Compliance with California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of relevant experience and/or training
- Combination of experience, education, or training may be substituted
- Previous experience in hotel or related business preferred
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Valid driver’s license with no recent violations
- Friendly, professional, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand, kneel or squat for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of California labor code and local municipal code compliance
Job Duties
- Proactively provides guests with personal service and attention that exceeds expectations
- Drives car to hotel garage adhering to all traffic regulations and speed limits, using caution to avoid damage
- Opens hotel doors for guests and offers verbal welcomes when not parking or retrieving vehicles
- Takes and provides tickets from guests to ensure safe parking and retrieval of vehicles
- Conveys a favorable image of the organization by maintaining a positive, professional appearance and demeanor
- Assists guests with unpacking, organizing, and storing luggage and golf clubs
- Informs guests about local activities and entertainment with energy and enthusiasm
- Performs other duties as directed by leadership
