Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or commutable distance
- At least one month of related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle including performing parallel parking
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow safety protocols and operational instructions
- Ability to maintain professionalism and courteous behavior with guests and coworkers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- One (1) month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and promptly
- Assist guests with luggage including delivery and pick up during arrival and departure
- Greet guests professionally within five feet and use guest last names during interactions
- Provide information on parking rates, retrieval procedures, and hotel amenities
- Maintain professional and friendly demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Complete and maintain accurate ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location and damage survey
