Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money
- Ability to understand time systems and applicable rates
- Ability to perform safe vehicle operations including parallel parking
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and work outdoors for extended periods
- Willingness to work various shifts including mornings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one or small group situations
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with luggage and bell services
- Provide guests with directions, taxi information, and hotel/area amenities
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Manage and maintain all ticket information accurately including claim checks and revenue collection
