Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money
  • Ability to understand time systems and applicable rates
  • Ability to perform safe vehicle operations including parallel parking
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and work outdoors for extended periods
  • Willingness to work various shifts including mornings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one or small group situations
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with luggage and bell services
  • Provide guests with directions, taxi information, and hotel/area amenities
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Manage and maintain all ticket information accurately including claim checks and revenue collection
