Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license for the state of work or commutable distance
One month related experience or training or equivalent combination
Ability to provide customer and personal services
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
Ability to write simple correspondence
Effective communication skills with guests and colleagues
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Understanding of 24 hour time and rates
Ability to operate manual transmission
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of work or within commute distance
One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of customer and personal services principles
Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including those with American money
Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
Manual transmission driving skills highly desirable
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
Acknowledge and greet guests professionally within five feet
Use guest last names during interactions
Practice proper phone etiquette
Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
Shuttle guests to approved locations
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
Collect claim checks before issuing keys
Complete and maintain ticket information accurately
Calculate and collect revenue when needed
