Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance from that state
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
- Ability to park and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently
- Availability for various shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable distance
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor within five feet
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously while ensuring safety
- Assist guests with luggage handling and bell services
- Provide directions, taxi assistance, reservations, and hotel or local information
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue and collect claim checks and maintain accurate ticket and key tag information
- Calculate and collect payment for parking services when necessary
