Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for applicable state
- At least one month of related experience or training
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic English
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Ability to understand and apply time and rate calculations
- Capability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Physical ability to perform required duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Availability to work weekends and evening shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions and correspondence
- Strong communication skills for effective one-on-one and small group interactions
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with units of American money
- Ability to understand and interpret 24-hour and military time systems
- Proficiency in rates applicable to elapsed time
- Manual transmission operation highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
- Greet and acknowledge guests within five feet using professional and friendly demeanor
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously while assisting guests with bell services and luggage
- Provide guests with directions, taxi information, reservations, and details on amenities and local attractions
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures, issue claim checks securely, and maintain accurate ticket information including damage surveys and key tags
